What a day, what a day!!! I am so proud of the Ignite School family, especially our teachers and students. Today, we hosted an Entrepreneurship Conference here in our very own school. We invited business owners, from the Dubai community, to lead sessions about being an entrepreneur. Each classroom was presented with session topics and were able to choose their top three sessions to attend. As students rotated between the 20-minute sessions, they listened, as our presenters talked about following their passion and their experiences with providing goods and services to the people of Dubai. Our students were engaged, curious, and asked thoughtful questions. This event was designed as the precursor to our students beginning their own school-wide business. They will become researchers, market analysts, consultants, developers, advertisers, salesmen and saleswomen. Our students will develop a wide range of skills including…communicating, critical thinking, creativity, designing, caretaking, negotiating, problem solving, and so much more. We look forward to presenting our product in the very near future and look forward to your support.
