At Ignite School, we don’t just recognize academic excellence — we nurture it through leadership, character, service, and scholarship. This year, our National Honor Society (NHS) and National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) chapters have lived up to those ideals and more.

The Induction Ceremony: Welcoming Future Leaders
This spring, we held a memorable induction ceremony to officially welcome our new members into both chapters. Dressed in formal attire, students took the oath of honor and pledged to uphold the pillars of NHS and NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship.
Parents, staff, and fellow students gathered to witness this powerful moment, celebrating the hard work and commitment that earned each inductee their place among our school’s most dedicated student leaders.
Sports Day Volunteers: Leading Through Service
During Sports Day, members of both NHS and NJHS stepped up in a big way — not as competitors, but as volunteers ensuring the day ran smoothly. From setting up equipment to cheering on younger students and helping organize teams, their presence was a perfect example of servant leadership in action.
Their energy, teamwork, and problem-solving throughout the event helped turn a fun day into a flawlessly organized success.
Bake Sale for Autism Awareness: Sweet Support with a Cause
In April, our NJHS and NHS chapters organized a colorful and meaningful bake sale in honor of Autism Awareness Month. Tables lined with cupcakes, cookies, and pastries decorated in blue raised funds and awareness across the school community.
More than just selling treats, members engaged students in conversations about inclusion and neurodiversity, using their platform to foster understanding and empathy.
The Talent Show: Behind the Curtain & On the Stage
This year’s Ignite Talent Show was nothing short of spectacular — and much of that is thanks to our NJHS and NHS students who played a central role in planning and executing the event.
From coordinating performers and managing backstage logistics to hosting and promoting the show, they transformed the event into a well-run, student-centered celebration of creativity and courage.
Their leadership, responsibility, and attention to detail ensured every performer had their moment to shine.
