Nisreen Souki | Literacy-Focused Educator
Grade 3 Team Leader
I am a passionate elementary school teacher with over 25 years of experience inspiring young minds in grades 2 through 5. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a teaching diploma with a specialization in teaching English as a Foreign Language. In addition to being organized and focused, I bring strong communication and leadership skills, having served as a grade-level leader supporting instructional and organizational development for my team. I believe literacy development should be at the core of elementary education, with a focus on building a strong foundation in reading and writing. In my classroom, I strive to make learning fun, meaningful, and accessible to every student, while nurturing the whole child and fostering curiosity through engaging, student-centered instruction. Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, hiking, and going to the gym—and I am also a freelance Zumba instructor. As I begin my second year at Ignite School, I’m excited to welcome back all staff, parents, and students for another rewarding year ahead!
