Nesma Elsayed
Head of Health and Physical Education Department
I am a dedicated physical education leader and the current Head of the PE Department, with extensive experience implementing the American curriculum and aligning instruction with the New York State Learning Standards. I bring over a decade of experience as an artistic gymnastics coach and educator, combining my passion for student development with a commitment to excellence in physical education.
I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in physical education, with a specialization in Artistic Gymnastics, and I am a certified international FIG gymnastics coach at the Expert level (2024). As a former elite gymnast, I had the honor of representing my national team for over 15 years, earning multiple first-place finishes at regional and international championships, including a silver medal on uneven bars at the World Cup Finals in Hamburg.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, Talia, and nurturing our shared enthusiasm for health, fitness, and an active lifestyle.
