Michelle W. Lee | Passionate About Student-Centered Learning

Grade 1 Team Leader

I’m Michelle W. Lee, I am a current 1st grade teacher at Ignite School, who’s a certified Elementary Teacher from the United States. I have been teaching for over 20 years. I have taught kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th grade, where I held the position of grade level chair and mentor to new educators. I have also had the opportunity to be a part of local school accreditation team, book committee and After-school and Summer Enrichment Academy.

However, guided by my love for children and the many teachers in my family and church, I pursued education. I graduated from Troy University with a BS and MS degrees in elementary education.

My professional journey allowed me to be trained in the capacity of:

Classroom Management, LETRS, AMSTI Training, Schoology, School Ethics, School Culture & Climate, Number Talks, and other key instructional initiatives.

I am a widower, the mother of two boys, one daughter in love and three grandchildren.

“My education philosophy is to nurture and encourage the lifelong learners to be successful in whatever career or whatever path they go in.” “Also, I want to love and treat them the way that I want someone to love and treat me.”
