Ali Alzyout
Vice Principal – High School (Grades 9–12)
Ignite School
I’m Ali Alzyout, High School Academic Vice Principal at Ignite School. With over two decades of experience in education and leadership, I’ve dedicated my career to fostering academic excellence and building strong, supportive learning environments. My journey has been shaped by a unique blend of experiences—as a U.S. Air Force veteran, math educator, and aviation instructor—all of which have fuelled my commitment to both discipline and innovation in education.
I hold two master’s degrees in education and am certified in secondary and middle school mathematics across three U.S. states. I spent eight years teaching math, where I embraced creative strategies to make complex concepts clear and engaging. I later spent seven years as an aviation instructor, blending technical knowledge with practical teaching approaches to support student understanding in meaningful ways.
At Ignite School, I’ve proudly contributed to the Distinguished Achievement Program (DAP), both as a math teacher and as Head of Department. Now, in my role as Vice Principal, I continue to lead with purpose—driving academic achievement, mentoring teachers, and helping students realize their full potential. I believe that with the right support and vision, every student can succeed, and I’m honored to be part of a school that shares that belief.
