EXPO 2020 Projects

About Expo 2020

For 170 years, World Expos have provided a platform to showcase the greatest innovations that have shaped the world we live in today. Expo 2020 will continue that tradition with the latest technology from around the globe.

Dubai Expo 2020 is built on the theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’ with three sub-themes of sustainability, mobility, and opportunity.

There’s always something to get excited about, whether you are looking for business opportunities or want to channel your creativity, here you can dive into a world of flavors or unleash your inner techie.

60+ daily shows, 200+ restaurants, 190+ country pavilions, 200+ pavilions

At the Expo, there will also be journeys designed for students to be inspired, have fun, and transform their learning experiences. Students will get a chance to visit all of the pavilions at this once-in-a-lifetime event!

Expo 2020 at Ignite

The Expo School Programme offers outstanding learning opportunities for students that encourage creativity, innovation, and collaboration in the classroom. Ignite teachers harness their students’ creativity and imaginations into building a brighter future for all.

Below are projects that we will participate in as we prepare for this exciting event.

Monthly Expo Challenges

Expo Champions is an initiative for students to generate excitement and spread awareness about Expo 2020 to their fellow students, teachers, and parents. Each month a new challenge is shared and students are encouraged to complete them.

Music & Tolerance

This lesson encourages the students to engage with music and consider how it can be used to bring people of various cultures together, and to communicate important messages about equality, tolerance and inclusivity.

 “Walk Through Past Expos”

Students will have the opportunity to make their own versions of inventions showcased in past World Expos.

Ignite Expo Event

We will set up our event similar to Expo 2020 with the same theme and subthemes. Student creations and class projects from the school year will be showcased at the first ever Ignite Expo in June.
